The training program that will change your life, KAAIAA, is set to officially launch Bondi Beach and Surry Hills studio classes, due to the high on demand online platform. This workout program is unlike any other, as it trains not only just your physical self, but your mental, emotional and spiritual self also. Here is my personal experience with program and everything you need to know about the workout that goes far beyond just the physical self.

Not a week goes by where I don’t hear about a new health trend. Each time a social media influencer tries to sell me on something claiming instant results I become increasingly more suspicious. Just to achieve the standard of eating healthy, exercising, and meditation daily feels like taking on a second job.

I was speaking to a friend when I heard about KAAIAA. What peaked my interest was the class’s unique style of practice. The sixty minute session focuses on both a mental and physical routine. I wanted to see for myself if KAAIAA could be the answer to my dilemma with tuning into slow paced meditation and breathing classes. When I arrived I saw myself amongst people of all ages and physique. We sat together on our mats in a tranquil rooftop studio above the beautiful Paramount Hotel in Surry Hills. Class began with an overview about KAAIAA and it’s founder Leah Simmons who for the past fourteen years has practiced as a personal trainer, pilates instructor and yoga teacher.

Created by Australian Leah Simmons, KAAIAA is a complete workout that trains the 4 Pillars of Health (Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual) to strengthen, support and enhance every aspect of your life. The workout features a dynamic combination of 4 proven modalities (Breath Work, Body Work, Meditation & Integration) that focus on cultivating energy across each of the pillars, and when performed consistently, can have profound effects in each and every area of your life.

The complete KAAIAA workout:

Breath Work (Mental Health)

  • Increased oxygen intake for laser-sharp focus and a clear mind
  • Stimulates nervous system and activates neural pathways
  • Brings you into the present moment for clarity and calm

Body Work (for Physical Health)

  • Functional strength sequences for a strong, resilient body, deep core conditioning, postural alignment and increased mobility.
  • Aerobic and anaerobic sequences for cardiac health.
  • Regressions and modifications for all levels.

Meditation (for Emotional Health)

  • Balance and align the energy centres.
  • Guided meditations centred around self-love, compassion, gratitude and awareness.
  • Mindfulness practices to connect you to your centre.

Integration (for Spiritual Health)

  • Foster a deep connection to your true self.
  • Remove limiting beliefs, limiting language and old conditioning.
  • Understand your potential and release the behaviours that hold you back.

Leah Simmons – KAAIAA

Leah explained the KAAIAA foundation called the four pillars of health (mind, body, emotion, spirit). Without giving away too much, she started us with breath work. The breathing exercise flowed into a fitness routine, and then into a mental exercise that combined the two. Having done meditation and breathwork before, the combination in KAAIAA’s sequence was a lot more stimulating than any solo focused work I’ve done. At the end of our class we were emotional. It unlocked something inside all of us, but in a really positive way. Even for those who don’t find themselves to be very spiritual, it was therapeutic. I quickly understood why Leah developed KAAIAA into her main focus.

About Leah Simmons:

Leah Simmons is a certified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer and Kundalini Yoga Teacher with a true passion for all things health and fitness. She has dedicated over 14 years to transforming people’s bodies (including her own) but soon realised that training just your body wasn’t enough to help achieve a happy and fulfilled life.

During her time in Bali Leah uncovered what it took to be truly ‘fit’ when she was introduced to the 4 Pillars of Health. She discovered just how important it truly is to maintain energy across all of them for a healthy and balanced life, so she embarked on a journey to not only understand each pillar, but learn how to train them. It was through this understanding that Leah harnessed the transformational power of combining the training methods into one complete workout.

“KAAIAA is the difference between working out to change your body and working out to change your life. I wanted to take everything I’d learned about the importance of energy, as well as my years as a PT, Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Pilates Instructor and create a hybrid that successfully trains not only your body… but your mind and your soul as well. Time-poor Aussies are increasingly looking for ways to incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices into their day, and KAAIAA covers it all – in one hour. I am so proud to be launching KAAIAA in my home country first, before taking it to the world.”

– LEAH SIMMONS

Through music, movement, strength and stillness, KAAIAA encourages people to go beyond the intensity of the surface, past the noise of the mind and find the strength within to truly transform their lives. The program has completely captured the hearts, bodies and minds of Australians everywhere and is taking the fitness world by storm. Over 3,000 people have already attended a KAAIAA class, some of these people being, Pip Edwards, Danielle Cormack, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, James Magnusson, Michael Clarke, Australian Tennis Open athletes, model Montana Cox, actor Joel Edgerton and boxing legend Mike Tyson.

KAAIAA is far more than just a fitness class, it’s an experience. One that is great for those who have busy minds that prevent them from tuning into meditation and yoga. After one class I was more productive because my mind was clear. I didn’t find myself overwhelmed with tasks, everything just seemed to flow. If one class can do that, I’m happy to subscribe. And that is exactly what I did. I would recommend signing up when you can because I can already predict the amount of hype KAAIAA will receive in the coming weeks.

Attend a KAAIAA class and awaken all 4 health pillars for a better life today. You can attend a class on demand via KAAIAA to access a variety of 30, 45 or 60 minute classes. After a 7-day free trial, pricing starts at as little as $5.00 per week. KAAIAA Studio Classes are held at Circa BC, 75A Gould Street, Bondi Beach and Paramount Recreation Club, 2/80 Commonwealth St Surry Hills. For class times or to book visit check out the offical website: www.kaaiaa.com
