For the Love of Chloé
Gaby Aghion re-revolutionised the fashion industry in the 1950s when she founded the fashion power house, Chloé. While other luxury fashion houses were still focused on Haute Couture (made-to-measure clothing) Gaby Aghion had realised that there were millions of more money-constrained women who were not catered for. Thus the prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) fashion market was born.
