Sneaker enthusiasts can now worry less about their beloved (and often expensive) collection. Every sneakerhead will tell you just how important it is to keep your trainers spotless at all times, and that they’re not just shoes – they’re an investment item that is worth taking care of.

For fear of filth and damage, many sneaker collectors let their shoes go to waste, sitting unworn in a cupboard or on a shelf still in their original box. With the new Philips Sneaker Cleaner, you can actually enjoy and wear your sneakers, without having to worry about any spots, scuffs, or stains being added to your collection.

The Philips Sneaker Cleaner GCA1000/60 is a new, automated cleaning device made with sneaker-lovers in mind. This portable, battery-operated cleaner takes the time and effort out of keeping your shoes spotless and is a more affordable alternative to other shoe maintenance solutions – such as dry-cleaning. And as the sneaker community only continues to grow, this industry-first device from Philips is sure to quickly become a staple in every shoe lover’s toolkit.

At the touch of a button, the Philips Sneaker Cleaner scrubs and buffs your trainers, no matter the material. It comes with three different cleaning heads, all to suit different types and styles of shoes, without worrying about damaging them. The hard brush is for use on the tougher, more sturdy materials such as the rubber sole, or other types of textured rubber. The soft brush is perfect for use on most surfaces, including mesh or canvas. The sponge brush is ideal for cleaning the more delicate materials, such as PVC, leather, suede, or smoother rubber.

No more laborious scrubbing with a toothbrush, the Philips Sneaker Cleaner rotates at 500rpm for fast and efficient cleaning. And with an 80-minute run time off of 4 x AA batteries, this water-resistant, cordless device is perfect to carry while travelling, or for touching up on the go. Only weighing in at 0.35kg, you’ll hardly notice this nifty device in your bag!

You simply wet the bristled head with water and add soap if required, switch on the device with the touch of a button, and let it do its job. Use slow strokes down the front, sides, and bottoms of the shoe to clear off any dirt or muck and finish off by wiping excess water and soap off with a clean towel. Your sneakers will look like they’re fresh out of the box, instead of being well-travelled.

The Philips Sneaker Cleaner is available from a variety of Australian retailers at only $49.95AUD, which is an investment that any sneakerhead will be happy to make to keep their collectibles looking spick and span – without the ongoing costs of dry-cleaning or time spent scrubbing with their own hands. The Sneaker Cleaner also comes with a two-year warranty, so you know that you’re covered if you have any problems.

This industry-first device gives sneaker owners an easy and affordable solution to keeping their trainers looking fresh at all times and lets them feel confident to get wear out of them, without the worry.
