Earlier this year, Hertz announced a partnership with Polestar, a Swedish premium electric performance automaker, in order to buy up to 65,000 electric vehicles (EVs) over the course of five years. It is anticipated to be available in Europe by Spring 2022 and in Australia and and North America by late 2022. As part of the Polestar 2 order that will be delivered to Hertz in Australia in the coming months, Hertz in in negotiations with Polestar to finalise a deal.
