It seems like buying Christmas presents gets harder and harder with every passing year. On one hand, you want to give something fun and exciting, but you want them to actually use your gift. While fun and exciting gifts can be great, more often than not, they can really be a hassle to give and even receive. An exciting event can be seen as a chore. And even great gifts, like a new bike or fun knick-knacks, end up being shoved to the side. To avoid this, I’ve recently found that it’s safer (plus, a whole lot easier) to give something practical. Giving something practical allows your gift-receiver to get something that will improve their lives, while they use it every day. This way, they can have something they actually need, thus saving them money and time. So, what’s something that we all need to use every day? Electricity. And the safest way to do that, by using well-crafted, safety-based powerboards. The best part: you don’t even have to travel far for this great gift, as your local Bunnings should be stocking the HPM 8-Outlet Plugboss Powerboard for only $67.00.

The company responsible for the Plugboss Powerboard is HPM — a staple in the Australian electricity market. HPM has been a trusted, Australian-based company since 1930 and specialises in the best quality accessories and equipment when it comes to electricity. Above all else, HPM focus on safety, as working with electricity can often be incredibly dangerous. They build and produce equipment that is up to the highest safety standings, with a down-to-look practical look perfect for work sites or the home.

The 8-outlet Plugboss Powerboard is the perfect practical gift for Christmas, as it allows for hours and hours of use, whether it be power tools for an important job, or even just charging your phone.

Made obvious by its title, the PlugBoss PowerBoard has eight outlets, meaning you are able to charge and use a collection of power tools at once. The power board also includes three outlets that are further spaced apart, making room for transformer plugs. The extra-long lead, roughly three metres, is an amazing feature that really aids during a job or home project.

The HPM powerboard is not only useful, but it’s safe as well. The powerboard includes an Electrosafe ECD safety switch to protect you and your devices.

The powerboard also has a down-to-earth, Fluro yellow design, meaning you will never lose it or leave it behind on a job site. The sturdy build and casing will protect the powerboard if it is accidentally dropped and spring-loaded covers on each outlet to protect the sockets from dust, dirt, and wood-shavings, thus keeping them from becoming clogged. The outlets also include a rotating cover, so you can keep the outlet closed when not in use. This power board was designed to survive the toughest
