Alexandra began her career in fashion making clothes for some of the city’s best-known designers. Since 2009, however, she’s been brightening up homes and other interiors with sassy pillows made from recycled materials.
This eco-aware designer only uses environmentally friendly material– such as organic cotton canvases and recycled plastic water bottles. The felt on the cover as well as the poly-fill inserts are made of recycled materials. The machine finish ensures durability, and zipper closures make cleaning easy.
Each appliquéd felt pillow is rare; unique, in fact. Every piece is handmade and has shapes and letters individually stitched on.
While some collections have references to American folk art, others pay homage to pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.
