When it comes to great denim and quality street-wear you can’t go past G Star denim. Choosing the right denim means finding an excellent fit, great colour wash, and high quality fabrics that will see you through a couple of seasons. The options for jeans at G Star are endless, making finding the perfect pair that little bit easier.
Last week I selected some of my favourite men’s and women’s pieces for a photo-shoot. There is an effortlessly cool style to G Star, the focus is really on the fit. The denim is also a standout; it really feels luxurious and high quality. With all jeans there is some stretch, but you can feel confident in knowledge that your G Star denim will retain their fit and structure.
I found the women’s jeans relatively true to size, however with the men’s I found the sizes ran quite small, increasing by one or two sizes in each of the pieces.
With a price point on men’s jeans ranging from $150 to $400, and women’s jeans ranging from $140 to $360, G Star certainly offer some options at the higher end for denim street-wear. However, when it comes to denim, I believe you get what you pay for.
As with all G Star products I found the finishing and detail on all the pieces a nice touch.
