Market Shopping For Your Home

Just like you style yourself in particular outfits suitable for everyday wear, a special occasion or dress yourself up in something new simply to experiment with a current trend, you set a ‘look’ for yourself, an image and a sense of personality is evident in your outfit. If you do this with fashion, it makes sense to do it to your home too, right?

Picking the right lounge setting can be somewhat difficult, especially if this is your first home. Choosing a piece too small can leave your room uninviting and bland, whilst a lounge too big can be overcrowding. So, how do we find the perfect lounge for your room?

A Closet Dream

  • July 5, 2011

Searching for the most over the top, glamourous and extravagantly luxurious on the internet, I have come across many closets located in the homes of celebrities like the Kardashian girls, Fergie and Mariah Carey, as well as the ‘normal’ wardrobes that most of us are much more likely to have. Wherever my eyes have wondered to this afternoon, they were completely drawn to the immaculate, mirrored, walk-in closet pictured to the left of this post. This dream closet was designed by interior designer, Faye Resnick for one lucky lady by the name of Lillian Navarez.

Recycled Decor

You don’t have to compromise on style when choosing recycled decor for your home. If you take a look around at a few small towns or those known to exude a creative vibe you are sure to find some stylish pieces for your home. You will be surprised at the fashionable, funky, vintage pieces you may find in these sorts of towns. Though, if you’re feeling a little more creative, you could always create a personal accessory for yourself; a cushion or an ornament are always easy and will look great around the house.

Style Your Home With Freedom

When it comes to home interiors we would usually prefer something entirely different to our family, our best friend or the stranger on the street. A home is where we live, our own space where we make memories, a place that we come home to each day and love. Adding your personal touch is what will make your home into an interior version of yourself.

“What Teenage Girls Don’t Tell Their Parents” by Michelle Mitchell

When your lovable daughter turns into a teenager, it’s hard to believe that she is just another typical teenage girl, facing the many ups and downs of a teenager living in the moment of now. You know that the day she becomes a teenager that almost instantly everything is about to change. No longer is she playing with Barbie dolls and asking you to place pretty, white flowers in her pigtails. Instead, she is in high school with a completely different group of friends, asking to go to sleepovers and parties, seeking independence and freedom from her parents. The sudden change makes you wonder what’s really going on, what she is becoming and who she will be years from now.

Nilfisk have unveiled their cutting edge vacuum design set to evoke the style conscious cleaner in all of us. Conceived by Designworks USA a BMW Group company, the smooth lines and sound structure of the Coupe Neo is reminiscent of that in the design of a luxury car. Not unlike luxury cars while the Coupe Neo is a beautiful machine its functions and abilities outshine its looks. This mini sized vacuum is Nilfisk’s perfect answer to limited spaces and awkward areas. Weighing just 5 kilograms it has the most advanced manoeuvrability, swirling into hard to reach areas and leaving them fresher and cleaner than you can imagine. The machine is in a deceptively lightweight body making it easy to run through the home fuss free. While the frame of Coupe Neo is much smaller this is a huge benefit for people in smaller living arrangements such as share houses, apartment dwellers or space limited first home owners. The old cliché all good things come in small packages, really rings true with Nilfisk’s Coupe Neo. Although a much smaller design the vacuum, delivers an impressive 2000W motor power and 320W suction power ensuring a high dust pick-up and HEPA 10 filters. In addition, the vacuums include a synthetic self-sealing dust bag to minimise skin contact with dust allergens. More features include rubber-cushioned wheels to protect floors, a hard floor nozzle perfect for polished floorboards and tiled floors plus effective sound insulation. The functional and fashionable vacuum cleaner comes in a tasteful range of three metallic colours – red, silver and midnight blue – Nilfisk Coupe NEO vacuums are ultra efficient cleaners combined with sassy modern style. https://www.nilfisk.com.au/
