HAROW invites you to spend August on the Moon.

“One small step for man, one giant leaps for mankind”, Neil Armstrong made history on the moon 48 years ago in July 1969

Today, to celebrate this anniversary, HAROW has created a selection of pieces that will make you feel Armstrong’s experience.

These eclectic pieces of furniture and art are the perfect statement furniture to give your space – pun intended – that wow factor.

Featuring the Apollo 11 Table – the famous mission for the American Apollo space programme during which, on 20 July 1969 and for the first time in history man stepped foot on the Moon.

Digital files from NASA archives were needed in order to recreate the topology of real surfaces of the Moon, which constitutes an artistic and poetic landscape.

History changed forever when the Soviet Union launched Sputnik I on 4 October, 1957.

The Sputnik Cahir is a steel and aluminium structure that theoretically insists on the simplicity of conception, materials and inspiration.

The project was shortlisted for The Chair category in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2017, and was awarded Silver A Design Award from the A Design Award and Competition.

In 1969, almost 50 years ago, the American space programme, whose aim was to send man to the Moon, was in full swing.

Alike the Apollo 11 table, these landscapes replicated all digital topology of the surface of the Moon.

The physical properties of lunar soil are the result of gradual disintegration of the rocks, caused by continuous bombardment meteorites over millions of years.
