Social Kitchen is one of New Zealand’s hidden gems. One of my favourite things about architecture and interior design is the way a space can make you feel.  When you walk in and it just feels great.  You’re struck by interesting lines, textures, light and colour.  A space that tells a story.  The influence an excellent fit-out has on a bar or restaurant, and the diner’s experience, is really second to none.  Social Kitchen is one of those very special spaces. Industrial is my favourite style, plus with rural New Zealand influences, this space was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Full review below.

The newest trend in footwear has arrived with the Nike Airmax 2015 dashing into stores all around the country. But what makes this particular shoe the most comfortable around? They don’t call it an airmax for nothing! The heel of the shoe contains padding which, as any runner will tell you, pays off when you hit the pavement. Previous versions of the shoe have had considerable amounts of cushioning present, however with the 2015 Airmax model, runners can be thankful for extra cushioning in addition to Nike’s dynamic flywire which intertwines with laces to wrap midfoot for added support.

The Nike Flax Collection – otherwise known as the “Wheat Pack” is set to continue for another year with the recent release of Nike’s popular Fall 2015 range. Nike’s novel approach has won a number of converts in the sneaker world. For the second year running the company has successfully remodelled their most iconic shoe silhouettes and given them the “Wheat treatment”, a pleasing invention which is a remake of the original shoe but with golden wheat tones. Due to their commercial success during the initial November 2014 launch, Nike has brought back the Wheat Pack for 2015. The popular 2014 collection encompassed three classic additions which incorporated the latest weather resistant technology, unique accents and on trend design.
