The globally recognised technology company, Apple, has just released their latest and greatest iPad, that features the most powerful performance of any iPad so far. The device now comes with the all new A12 Bionic chip, a stunning retina display, advanced camera functions and audio settings, and an amazing all day battery life. The latest iPad from Apple also features the new and awaited, IOS-14 software, that’s got everyone talking. Here is all you need to know about the all new, 10.2-inch iPad.

The latest Apple iPad features:

A12 Bionic Chip

The world’s most popular iPad is back, and now, better than ever thanks to the all new, A12 Bionic Chip, that’s brining a Neural Engine to the entry iPad for the very first time. The chip is set to deliver an all new aspect and experience within the performance capacity of the iPad, with a 40% faster CPU performance, and with twice the graphics capability.

The Neural Engine has introduced “next level” machine learning capabilities to the iPad, that include people occlusion and motion tracking in augmented reality apps, enhanced photo editing, Siri performance, and more. The new chip also makes the 10.2-inch iPad up to three times faster, than the top selling Android tablet, and up to six times faster than the top selling Chromebook.

The IOS-14

Apple, has just released their latest software update, the IOS-14, which is now available for all supported iPad models, including the new eighth-generation iPad. The all new software features fresh designs that take advantage of the iPad’s large Multi Touch display, whilst further integrating the Apple Pencil into the iPad experience, for better note-taking capabilities. The IOS-14 has also brought a new compact design to all incoming phone calls, FaceTime calls, Siri interactions and Searches, this new design feature was created to help its users focus on the task at hand.

The world’s most convenient personal assistant, Siri, has greatly expanded knowledge, now with 20 times more facts than just three years ago. The Universal Search feature has been designed to quickly find anything, whether it is locating and launching apps, or finding and calling contacts, accessing files, or researching the answers to common questions about people, places and things. The all new sidebar feature has been included in many apps to give users quick, instant access, without switching views.

However, the most noticeable feature of the IOS-14 Software update, may be it’s fresh new look. The widgets have all been redesigned to be even more helpful and data rich. The new design also helps to  present information, at a glance from all times on the home screen. The widgets now come in different sizes, and can even be stacked, to give you even more space on the home screen.

The Apps you use the most can now be curated into a “smart stack”, to help you get access to your favourite apps instantly. For example, the News widget may appear in the morning, Calendar events during the day, and your upcoming TV show in the evening. This is all thanks to “on-device intelligence”, which can automatically show the right widget at the right time.

“We’re excited to offer customers an even faster and more powerful experience with the eighth-generation iPad”.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing

Writing and Drawing Features:

The latest iPad model is the perfect device for all of your drawing and note taking needs, whilst also featuring an ultra fast, wireless performance. ‘Scribble’ has been brought to the iPad for the very first time also, allowing all Apple Pencil users to handwrite directly into any text field, to make actions such as, replying to a quick iMessage, or searching something, both fast and easy. Scribble uses on device machine learning, to convert handwriting into immediate typed text, so that your writing is always kept private and secure.

The Apple Pencil adds such ease to doing paperwork, marking up documents and drawing, whilst still feeling as natural as a regular pencil, but with so much more potential. The new iPad has the ability to distinguish handwriting from drawings, so handwritten text can be cut, and pasted into document as typed text. New shape recognition also allows users to draw shapes that are geometrically perfect and snap right into place when adding diagrams and illustrations in Notes.
