When it comes to finding a good quality eye shadow, it can get a little hard unless you are somehow able to test it before your purchase. For those who are regulars at MAC Cosmetics, you will have probably sat in the chair in the store and had your eyes, lips or complexion attended to by a professional MAC makeup artist. This is a highlight to the service at MAC, they enjoy it and us ladies love getting our makeup applied!

MAC has such a variety of products for the eyes, lips and complexion in a variety of shades and colour palettes made to flatter every skin tone and woman alone. Their products are used on celebrities all the time and are essential for makeup artists who are on set of a runway show or fashion shoot. These products are simply amazing. They hide what they need to; add colour and highlight where you need it, all whilst creating an intense look that leaves you feeling great about yourself.

One of the best sellers of the MAC range is their natural looking eye shadows, which are easily used on a daily basis though can just as easily be used for a special occasion or event. In the eye shadow palette the colours all appear to be much more extreme than what they actually are and have hints of a golden or more metallic base to them, this is why it’s always best to ask the MAC makeup artist on hand to test out a selection of colours on your eye lid.

A personal favourite of mine is the MAC Frost eye shadow as it is ideal for every day as well as a night out. Looking at the palette it looks a silvery yet slightly golden shade of white, though once applied looks entirely different depending on the level I apply it at and the brush I use.

The MAC Frost colour acts as great highlighter along my brow bone as well as the corners of my eyes and when lightly swept across my lower lash line for everyday use. When it comes to night time, I can easily build on the colour with my brushes and blend other colours into it as well; Soba, Saddle, Soft Brown, Brown Script, Cork, Smoke & Diamonds as well as Freshwater and Aquadisiac all work perfectly with the Frost.
