Moshi have released something brilliant. In the past flip style cases might have protected your phone, however answering a call could be a bit of a hassle. Moshi’s SenseCover case lets you answer a call with the swipe of a finger all while the case remains closed. This is because of the cover’s tough-sensitive strip going through the front of the case, which touches the display; allowing for an easy alternative to a usually slow process.
Moshi won’t share precisely how the case works, for obvious reasons. We guess it goes something like this: The “proprietary embedded plates” go straight from the outside of the case to touching the screen display. A small electrical charge from your fingers passes through the plates, meaning that the display can still detect the swiping action. Basically ingenious.
It works similarly to the S View case for the Galaxy S4. However their solution is to swipe on a clear plastic window to activate the touchscreen underneath. The case also unlocks the S4 when the cover is opened; something unfortunately the iPhone lacks in functionality.
The SenseCover case comes in a polycarbonate plastic and a ‘leatherette’ look, available currently for $US45 in Steel Black or Brushed Titanium colour options. The case is fairly light; making sure it doesn’t add too much bulk to the iPhone. Avoid the inconvenience of having to open up your case to answer a call and move to a smarter option, a touch-sensitive – easy to answer option. SenseCover.
