Marley Spoon brings back the joy of home cooking to Australian households. No longer will exhausted and time-poor 9 to 5’ers be forced to aimlessly wander their supermarket aisles for dinner ingredients – Marley Spoon will deliver everything that is needed to cook quick, delicious and healthy meals. The perfect solution to easy weeknight dinners, the service brings market fresh ingredients straight to your door and provides complete instructions on how to cook your meal flawlessly.

The latest start up to take on the supermarket industry, home cooking service Marley Spoon takes the guess work out of the perennial ‘what’s for dinner’ question with tried and tested recipes. Using the best of what’s in season, Marley Spoon’s designer recipes can be made in 6 steps and under in as little as 30 minutes. For the environmentally conscious consumer, Marley Spoon’s system only uses minimal recyclable packaging and only sends the required quantity of produce for each recipe.

With Marley Spoon’s innovative software, users are able to purchase their food in the same way they use Netflix. Driven by greater consumer demand for choice and variety, the service provides its subscribers with 7 different recipes to choose from each week for an instant inspiration hit. Marley Spoon provides users with additional support through a cooking hotline, meaning meals are guaranteed to be delicious and perfect every time.

Marley Spoon has enjoyed success in the USA, UK, Germany and the Netherlands with its boundary pushing business model. As part of the shift that has changed the way farmers and their growing cycles respond to market demands for food, Market Spoon is set to revolutionise the way food is produced and consumed with an eye towards reducing food waste. With 4 million tonnes of food wasted by Australian households each year, and a growing base of consumers that favour healthy organic produce delivered in an environmentally friendly way, the service is uniquely positioned to meet these changes in demand. The readiness for new ways to enjoy food also means consumers are increasingly cutting supermarkets out of the equation and moving towards higher quality produce based around home cooking menus.

Marley Spoon meals are available at a minimum of $9.95 and is currently only available to the Sydney metropolitan area with plans to expand nationally.
