INFINITI Cars has modified two of its models to bolster sales even more.
The company has introduced new standard features on the INFINITI Q30 and QX30, reduced variant numbers, simplified model names, and confirmed competitive pricing, as of December 3 2018.
Every Q30/QX30 now comes by default with a rear-view camera and a DAB Digital Radio.
To make purchases easier for buyers, the INFINITI Q30 comes in two stylish variants — down from five — with an entry-grade Q30 PURE and an upper mid-spec Q30 SPORT now on sale.
The QX30 2.0 litre Turbo GT Premium is now known simply as the QX30 SPORT.
INFINITI has also taken the opportunity to change pricing, offering driveaway price points — for a limited time — on select Q30 and QX30 grades.
The entry model INFINITI Q30 PURE price remains unchanged at $44,900 plus on-road costs, while the mid-spec Q30 SPORT price — previously $52,900 plus on roads — has been reduced to $46,888 driveaway. The INFINITI QX30 has dropped from $56,900 plus on-roads to an easy $49,888 driveaway. This limited offer ends on July 1, 2019.
Guy Street, INFINITI Cars Australia’s managing director, said: “The changes to the INFINITI Q50 and Q60 were received very positively by our customers, so we are excited to introduce similar updates to the INFINITI Q30 and QX30.
“These cars deserve a higher market share, and we believe this range of changes give them every chance to succeed.
“The INFINITI Q30 and QX30 offer great value to those considering a premium small car purchase, and who want a high level of features in a luxury package.”
These cars boast 155kW of power at 5,500rpm and maximum torque of 350Nm at 1,200-4,000rpm – giving the models a powerful, instant burst of acceleration.
The INFINITI Q30 2.0T PURE features a striking sport grille, sporty front and rear bumpers, black gloss mirror housings, body-coloured side sill extensions, and dual exhaust pipes.
Also as standard equipment, the models include LED headlights, high beam assistance, Adaptive Front-lighting System, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and the new-to-the-range Rear View Camera.
Inside it features a DAB digital radio, heated front seats, a multi-function D-shaped leather- steering wheel and leatherette upholstery throughout.
The models are packed with standard active safety equipment including: Intelligent Cruise Control with speed limiter, Intelligent Brake Assist with distance control, Blind Spot Warning, front parking sensors, a 360 degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, and Intelligent Park Assist.
With the updates applied from December 3, the INFINITI Q30 and QX30 are available in eight stylish colours including, Magnetic Red, Ink Blue, Majestic White, Black, Black Obsidian, Graphite Shadow, Blade Silver and Chestnut Bronze.
