Dare Gallery is an Australian furniture manufacturer that dares homeowners to be different. And they’re living up to their own motto by being the first furniture company in Australia to launch a new Smartphone app for its customers!
Furniture is a heavy investment. Something that looked perfect in a store, may just not look quite right when you’ve installed it in your home… perhaps you’ve forgotten that red rug you had, or mistaken your walls for a cream when they are in actuality, a shade of beige.
The Dare Gallery app throws these worries right out the door! Simply take a photo with your Smartphone and the app will use “augmented reality” to give a highly accurate colour image of the chosen Dare Gallery furniture piece in situ. The app also allows you to share your images on Facebook or by email, allowing for more than a second opinion from friends before you commit to buying.
For now only the top ten products are available to be tried via the app, however more products will continually be released throughout 2013.
