Crust Pizza Pyjama Party

We were asked to host a fun and fantastic dinner party for friends and family on a date and time of our choosing. Crust Pizza Australia catered the event on Saturday night 18 May, providing entrées, mains and desserts for all! We were also given a generous budget for decorative and theming purposes.

Deciding on the theme of the Crust Pizza Dinner Party was a very important feat which took some thinking. Eating pizza with friends is a traditional way of dinnertime socialising that everyone can feel comfortable with. Suddenly, the idea of ‘comfort’ became an integral component of the party theme plan and we started thinking about what exactly we associated with being comfortable. It was then that the legend of the Pyjama Pizza Party was born! Guests would wear their pyjamas and as nights were getting chillier, this would give everyone an excuse to break out the old night robe and fluffy slippers!

We decorated our party location with balloons, and black and silver confetti. Our select group of lucky party-goers enjoyed all the delicious food that Crust had to offer whilst relaxing under the stars! Paper stars dangling from the ceiling, that is.

In anticipation for the big night, we hung up the decorations and set up the table for our guests. Our colourful balloons floated upwards with tiny stars printed over them. The decorations were inspired by the night sky and everyone was encouraged to relax in their comfy PJ’s!

When the guests arrived in their pyjamas and onesis, we welcomed them with a drink and some delicious Crust pizza. After a few photos displaying some excellent fashion choices, we got the pizzas out and everyone dug in!

We had delicious vegetarian, meat and chicken pizzas in our selection and we let everyone pick and choose what they wanted!

After everyone was full, we took to the real night sky by enjoying a good mingle out on the deck. With a beverage in our hand, we lit sparklers and candles to enhance the night-time mood.

When all of our Crust pizza boxes were empty, our party guests took advantage of the dance floor! Our pyjama-wearing pizza lovers moved to the beat and laughed the night away.

The Crust Pizza Dinner Party was a complete success and every guest agreed that the food was delicious. After a long night of eating, dancing and mingling with friends, we all raised our glass to say thank you to Crust Pizza and we look forward to another party with you!

Thanks to Crust Pizza Australia and those who made the night possible (special thanks to Amy!)
