The new Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed takes technology and the greatest safety features and rolls it together in a luxurious, yet down-to-earth, family SUV. Available in either five or seven seats, the Mitsubishi Outlander is a reliable and trustworthy car perfect for families of any size.

Before we look further into the safety and advanced features, let’s talk about how it looks. Usually, family-based SUV’s can be bulky, boxy, and, sometimes, outright ugly,. However, the Outlander Exceed is sleek and stylish, with a glossy exterior. While the interior cabin remains very roomy and large, the Outlander Exceed somehow seems thinner and smaller from the outside.

Speaking of the interior, the Outlander Exceed’s cabin provides plenty of room to fit growing kids. As mentioned earlier, the Outlander is available in both five and seven seater. Whether you need the bigger or smaller space, the Exceed is built for versatility and change, and allows you to rearrange and adjust the second and third row, therefore allowing you to customise your car to the ride you’re taking. This means you can make more room for when you need it, such as a holiday or grocery shopping, or to pack the car with plenty of passengers. The power tailgate is also a great feature for the busy parent, as the tailgate will automatically open and close with the touch of the Smart Key.

The Outlander Exceed also includes smart phone connections and capabilities, such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With the 8 inch touch screen, you’re also able to make and receive calls and messages, listen to music, and access the fully integrated sat nav.

To further your comfort, the Outlander Exceed also includes dual climate control and a Smart Key. The Smart Key is a great feature for the Outlander, as it grants you all of the regular features that come with a key, but without the key itself, and with a simple button instead.

The drive and handling of the Outlander Exceed are smooth and incredibly simple. Built with an array of advanced features, some exclusive to the Exceed model, the drive becomes easier than ever before. Such features are particularly helpful when driving on busy highways, especially when keeping you and your passengers safe. For example, the Exceed includes a Blind Spot Warning, which will indicate when there is something in your blind spot. Two similar features — the Lane Change Assist and Lane Departure Warning — are also created to help your car merge, overtake, and keep up with traffic in the safest way possible. This really helps take the stress out of highway driving, especially with a car full of kids.

Even without all the fancy and advanced features, the SUV handles and drives smoothly and almost silently. The SUV can handle corners and merging well and doesn’t let the weight or size of the car affect its handling. The Outlander Exceed seems to handle best on open country roads or busy highways, as the many features and smooth handling can keep up with the busy traffic. Despite the constant noise of highway roads, the cabin of the Outlander Exceed remains completely silent, as the exterior fully filters out the outside road rumble.

So whether you need a smaller five-seater SUV or the larger seven-seater SUV, the Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed truly does exceed our expectations.
