‘Human Mart’: The Stimulating Supermarket Must-See For All Sydney Siders

Anti-Slavery Australia has just opened the world’s very first Human Mart, right in the heart of Sydney. Human Mart, is a store that displays products which represent the real life survivors of unspeakable crimes. The mart is only open for a limited time, from March 16th till March 25th, to coincide with International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. The shop ultimately aims to drive awareness about modern day slavery and human trafficking, which affects approximately 15,000 people in Australia today.

Cashrewards: Consumer Spending Increasing

Cashrewards may be just the incentive Australian retailers need to encourage consumer expenditure in the later half of 2015. New research has revealed that an increase of 50% of Australian shoppers would spend more in the second half of 2015, which is just the news retailers need in the lead up to Christmas. Key insights from the Cashrewards survey also exposed that across all demographics, 90% would purchase on sale or through a promotion. Shoppers are mostly enticed by discounts, coupons and rewards.
