Menu Lighting has an ethos that lighting doesn’t just illuminate; it interacts with the environment to transform mood, enhancing the look of a room and the objects in it. Each lighting feature is lovingly created by individual designers making each one unique.

“I like things to be simple. I think there is a real beauty in that: when it’s all it needs to be. Especially with the world today. We’re living in an age of excess. Design for me should be simple and comprehensible but also with an element of surprise,” Lighting Designer Daniel Schofield describes his design philosophy.

The Collections by Menu Lighting

The JWDA Collection
Minimalism is the hallmark of the JWDA Collection. Inspired by oil lamps, the JWDA Cordless Lamp exemplifies the poetic simplicity of this collection. Warm and inviting light in encapsulated by the simple, yet stark design of this piece. Use of contrast in elliptical glass atop a metal base makes this an eye-catching, minimalist design. This collection is all about making something simple look extraordinary.

The JWDA Floor Lamp is another example of the way this collection combines simplicity with boldness. Horizontally elliptical glass above a slender stem of metal sits atop a marble base. This is another piece that shows off the use of contrasting materials to captivate and mesmerise the eye. Shop the Menu JWDA Collection

The Hashira Collection

The Hashira collection puts a modern Nordic twist on the Japanese rice paper lantern design. The Table lamp from this collection blends the fabric of window blinds with the traditional Japanese lantern design. Light is gently projected in different directions to create a calming ambiance. Made of ash, the simple, round base celebrate the minimalist ideal. The Japanese influence combined with clever lighting that casts light in different directions marries historical design to mesmerising illumination.

Hashira pendant lamp cluster

The Pendant Lamp Cluster is another Hashira design that cleverly melds Japanese influence with modern design. Clustering three pendants from a hanging textile cord adds elegance to minimalistic style. Natural materials of wood and fabric combine with simplistic design to give this Japanese inspired lamp cluster sophistication and balance. Shop the Menu Hashira Lighting Collection

The Tribeca Collection

Modern and timeless, the Tribeca Collection is at times dramatic or surprising using state of the art light technology to enhance the space of every room.

The Leonard Chandelier came into being after a road trip to America, sparking the designer to experiment with 1930s New York style with an industrial edge. The elegance of a chandelier lit by modern bulbs is jauntily unexpected and bold. The basic metal of the chandelier joins with simplicity of basic, modern bulbs in a way hat seems more beautiful than if the chandelier were adorned by precious stones.

The Tribeca Collection by Menu Lighting

Like all Tribeca designs the Franklin Chandelier began as separate parts gathered from a US road trip. Taken apart and put together again to create something new, Tribeca lights are born of experimentation and artistic whimsy. The Franklin Chandelier showcases this uniqueness of this collection with its bulbs set at random angles upon long, metal limbs. The large glass bulbs contrast with slender metal arms puts a modern spin of the industrial era. Shop the Tribeca Collection
