It can get a little tiring in the shopping centre sometimes, searching for the perfect dress for your cousins wedding, an outfit for the big weekend ahead of you, a new shirt for work or a comfy pair of flats. If you find yourself aimlessly wondering around a shopping centre for hours on end majority of the time you go shopping for yourself, here is a no-fuss guide to get what you want out of your next shopping trip.

The key with shopping is to know what you want. If you want to find whatever it is you are looking for take into consideration; why you need this item/s, where will you be wearing it, your personal style tastes, what are your personal requirements and how much money are you planning to spend? These factors will help you to be a knowledge Sydney shopper and will give you a clear direction of which shops to head to next time round.

For the Men: Most of you have this pretty easy, your outfits can be quite simple and you probably have your favourite ‘go-to’ shops that you rely on what you need to stock up on some pieces. You know that a collared shirt, a dark pair of jeans or dressy pants along with a stylish pair of black or brown leather shoes will have you looking instantly great. Many of the menswear stores have a few accessories like a tie, a watch or cufflinks available and definitely add a personal touch to your simple outfit and make all the difference. Shop: ‘Farage’ for suits, ‘Politix’ for shirts, ‘Glue Store’ for weekend casual, ‘Incu’ for a dressier take on casual and ‘Aldo’ for shoes. For the larger man ‘Big Men’s Clothing’ have a wide range easily available as do ‘Ron Bennett Big Mens Clothing’.

For the Ladies: The ladies have it a little more complex, though that is not necessarily a bad thing at all! With so many stores, labels, clothes, shoes and accessories to choose from, the women can be a little indecisive, simply because there is just so much on offer each season. The shops to visit are generally chosen based on your personal taste and what you require your purchased pieces for. Usually if there is a label you find fits you well and suits your needs, shop it as much as you wish because chances are it will have items suitable for you, no matter what your occasion. It’s all about how you wear the outfit and style yourself. Shop: ‘Seduce’ for the dressier pieces, ‘Jade & Belle’ for unique designs that cater to many different tastes, ‘Cosmopolitan Shoes’ for a killer pair of heels or flats or ‘Wanted Shoe Co’ for a more affordable price range, ‘Peeptoe’ for statement accessories and ‘Cue’ for those classy pieces. Some on-trend plus size stores to head to are ‘City Chic’, ‘Embody Denim’ and ‘M Line’.

Many of us see shopping as a pleasurable experience once we have found our favourite stores and find what we want, we have planned. Being on the hunt for a particular item can be the most enjoyable part, you never know what shop you will end up in. You may be surprised at what you find when you explore the shopping centres of Sydney. Be open to anything, try what you like and wear it with pure style and confidence!
