The S-Works McLaren Tarmac developed exclusively with McLaren is all about attention to detail. McLaren played a big role in the development of the Rider-First data collection system, which was used to analyse how different sized riders rode the bikes. Unveiled just a few days before the 2014 Tour de France, the S-Works bike raises the bar of complete bicycle performance.

The frame and fork of the S-Works McLaren Tarmac feature a unique carbon layup schedule that has resulted in a 10% weight savings over the standard S-Works Tarmac. Similarly, the crankset, custom AeroFly handlebars, and CLX40 carbon tubular wheel-set all use the new carbon layup leading to complete performance and maximum weight savings.

These bicycles are meant to be excusive—only 250 are slated for production. Each S-Works McLaren Tarmac will be built to the specification of the rider, making this a truly personalised bike. This limited edition bike also comes with custom made S-Works Road Shoes and an S-Works Prevail helmet, both painted to match the frame.
