Getting your blood pressure checked needn’t require a visit to your local GP, thanks to the new appcessory coming soon from iWorld Australia.
The device works in conjunction with an attached velcro arm pressure patch, just like the ones used in medical centres, which then wraps around your bicep and allows for an accurate BP reading. The device is also completely portable, allowing users to check blood pressure levels from any location.
The app then allows you to chart your previous and new BP recordings from your apple device, share those results with family or send to your doctor to keep them informed of any changes.
The dock in which the pump connects to doubles as a charging station for your Apple device, ensuring your iPhone/iPad/iPod doesn’t die whilst charting your results.
The invention is particularly useful for the elderly with heart problems, as well as those suffering with high/low blood pressure, as it makes it convenient and simple to monitor any small or large changes in the circulatory system.
The app itself, iHealth, is available for downloading from all appstores, completely free of charge. The cost of the accessory will be determined upon its date of release.
