The new wedding trend: A Volkswagen Kombi Van

The Volkswagen Kombi van is a new rising wedding trend that is seeing brides ditch the traditional motorcade and opt for a fun and sparkly hint of colour. They are a cost effective and excellent edition to any beach wedding, as more and more brides are choosing Kombis for wedding hire. Hosting a wedding can be really tough. There are so many fiddly details to sort through, so many cakes to try (though we’re not complaining) and dresses to squeeze into. The Volkswagen kombi seems to be the answer.

It’s no secret that Volkswagen beetles, convertibles and kombi’s have a history of hippy, vintage road trips during the summer of 1975. That’s generally what they’re known for. Why not wouldn’t you bring that summer vibe and good times feeling to the most magical, romantic day of your life? It makes sense.

At Cupid Car Hire, you can borrow an 8-seater Volkswagen kombi for $170 (plus GST per hour). It’s a very affordable option if you’re in the market for a fresh, chic and inexpensive wedding idea. The company also hires out Mustangs, chargers, and convertible beetles at a slightly accelerated cost. The cars have been upgraded to include iPhone/iPad connectivity (to blast your wedding playlist), a DVD Player, and an original sunroof.

The company also supplies water, a red carpet, a uniformed chauffeur, umbrellas and white ribbons for the front of your chosen vehicle. The service is impeccable, but you’ll need to book early to secure your place.
