The Glass Half Full Campaign is a great initiative which aims to promote healthy self-esteem, self-awareness and encourage all of us to see personal situations in a positive light. We can all look at a personal situation with optimism or pessimism, and the aim of the campaign is to help Australians take the first step in the journey towards building a stronger self esteem. Now in its second year, the Glass Half Full campaign is gaining traction with its message on how to make a fresh start in gaining a positive sense of self and new outlook on life.

Mind Shift is a not-for-profit organisation which was established in 2013 by Elizabeth Venzin with the purpose of addressing the epidemic of low self-esteem that has become significantly prevalent in Australia. The organisation is asking all Australians to start by making a positive pledge to themselves this September.

The pledge doesn’t have to be long and can simply be something that is personally meaningful and achievable. The pledge can then be sent to Mind Shift which will then send you back your pledge as a .jpeg that can shared with family and friends.

Mind Shift Founder and CEO Elizabeth Venzin is hopeful that the campaign will significantly build on the success of the previous year by helping participants to see positive shifts in all areas of their lives. “During Glass Half Full week, we encourage everyone to shift their thinking and focus on looking at situations in a positive light” she said. Venzin also highlights that although the campaign only runs for a week, people are able to make pledges 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with constant support from Mind Shift.

Spring is the perfect time to kick off a healthy new habit and there is no limit to the amount of pledges that can be made. If you are suffering from low self-esteem and feel like you could use a hand, head over to the Mind Shift online and make your pledge today.
