Marley Spoon is the future of home cooking with convenient and easy to follow recipes available to those of us who find that we have little time to cook. This week we had the chance to test Marley Spoon’s delicious recipes. The service offers full recipes and meal plans which you can customise to suit your taste buds and budget. All ingredients are sourced from sustainable and organic producers where possible. You get everything you need to make wholesome, healthy and delicious meals minus the fuss and supermarket trip.

Upon opening the sleek Marley Spoon box we knew that we had gotten value for money with an array of fresh ingredients all neatly stacked next to each other. Adding to the convenient nature of the Marley Spoon meal boxes is the pre-measured ingredients, which all come in their own bags and containers, ready to be made into something spectacular. We had chosen a noodle dish, a tasty beef and veggie combo and a chicken dish to trial.

After unpacking our fresh ingredients, we scanned the recipe card and were surprised and delighted by the simplicity of the instructions. The recipe card was easy to read with beautiful images to help make the daunting process of cooking an unfamiliar dish easier. Recipe cards are able to be collected for future use. Although the prep time took longer than what we expected, the recipe was very easy to make. The meal was a generous size and was delicious, with an explosion of flavour in every mouthful. With Marley Spoon’s focus on quality, healthy and variety, their ample selection of vegetables made it much easier to meet the daily veggie quota. Interesting spices, grains and other additions made the dishes interesting and a joy to cook.

Perhaps the best thing about being given this opportunity is that you are introduced to new ingredients and recipes you may not have thought about trying before. For those of us who are environmentally conscious, all containers are recyclable and bulkier packaging is able to be returned to Marley Spoon to be recycled. Marley Spoon helps you build on your cooking skills no matter what level you are and takes the guess work out of dishes you may have been too intimidated to attempt. Whether you are a busy mum or dad on the go or are just hoping to impress friends with your culinary skills, we definitely recommend giving Marley Spoon a try.
