The Samsung Galaxy S II is made mostly from plastic, though this does not take away from the overall appeal of the tech-phone image. With the 8.49mm of thickness the Galaxy S is appealing in both function and importantly, the design. Thinner than the iPhone 4, the Galaxy S is one of the thinnest smartphones in the world.

A few other bonuses in terms of design are that the Galaxy S II weighs just 116g making it comfortable to hold in your hand, handbag or slip into your pocket. Though it may be a very thin design, it definitely does not feel cheap or flimsy considering the light weight. The Samsung Galaxy S II has managed to create a near-perfect balance with the size, weight and overall appeal of the smartphone.

As for features the Samsung Galaxy S II has a home key easily visible, touch sensitive back and menu buttons. The power and lock screen button is conveniently positioned to the right making it easy to access with just one free hand, the same applies to the volume controls to the left .

The most valued feature of the Samsung Galaxy S II is the 4.3in Super AMOLED Plus display, definitely one of the best screens we have seen on any smartphone to date, enhancing the vivid colours, great viewing angles and brightness.

This the perfect phone for video playback and viewing images as well as for the smartphone, business features, definitely a new take on the usual smartphone and sure to be popular with people all over, no matter what they intend to use the Samsung Galaxy S II.
