French product designer Phillippe Starck puts a little bit of “Za Za Zoo” back into our lives with his beautiful 100 Watt RMS ‘Zimku Parrot Wireless Stereo Speakers.’ Starck’s commitment to pushing the boundaries and challenging everyday norms is exemplified through his captivating, streamlined design. The result is a “statement-worthy” piece which is sure to add spark to your home. Starck’s collaboration with Henri Seydoux (CEO and founder of Parrot) in the design of these is one he has described “as a kind of osmosis.” Their aim wasn’t to design another loudspeaker, but a wireless design which is both more flexible and versatile to reflect modern lifestyles. With Parrot’s globally-recognised technology and Starck’s flair for unique design; together they have achieved a speaker system that produces crystal clear sound wirelessly via all Bluetooth devices or through Wi-Fi. Starck describes it as having designed “vibrating air.”
