The Revolutionary Car Rental Service Taking Aust By Storm

Is your car sitting in your garage as you catch the train to work? Maybe you’re going on four weeks holiday while it sits curbside at home? Put it to good use and rent out your car through Australia’s first peer-to-peer car rental service – DriveMyCar.

DriveMyCar makes it possible for people to rent out their underutilised cars to others with confidence. By offering a ‘trusted marketplace,’ owners can list their vehicles for free and renters can hire them – after passing a strict verification process. Vehicles can be rented for four to 365 days – there is a plan, and a car, to suit everyone.

List your Toyota Yaris, BMW X5 or everything in between. DriveMyCar calculate the amount you earn from renting your car according to its market value. For example, if your car is worth $24,000 you could earn $840 per month!

DriveMyCar is available at many locations Aust-wide and is now operating at some major airports. Following similar successful roll-outs in Brisbane and Sydney Airports last year, DriveMyCar has now expanded its popular services to one of Australia’s busiest airports, Melbourne (Tullamarine). Local and international travellers can now benefit from the sharing economy and rent quality cars at prices much lower than traditional rental companies. Just check out these amazing rental rate comparisons:

Consumers can forget about those costly extras that come with traditional car rental companies. DriveMyCar charge one transparent daily rental fee which includes collision damage cover, servicing, tyres and registration. They only have to pay for fuel and motorway tolls and the first payment will also include a refundable bond.

Since 2010, DriveMyCar has has paid out over $5 million to Australian car owners who use their platform to rent out their private vehicles, helping them make extra money from their underutilised vehicles.
